Wedding Toast - Best Man/Woman/Friend
My best friend in the world just married my newest best friend and I'm here to tell you a bit about our friendship.
First, my best friend and I have known each other for twenty years. Some of them were good years, some of them were questionable and all of them memorable. From grade school to high school, we proved that friendships could change lives. Pranks were the icing on the cake and boys/girls were the main staple of a life well lived.
Side by side, we've been through tragedy, supported each other through successes and failure, practiced laughter and joy. With your help, I've become a better person. Learned how to tip a stripper, paint a room, change the oil in a car and beat a restaurant bill.
From you I've learned that loving a person is the greatest gift one can give That forgiveness is a virtue and revenge is best left behind. I've learned that through life one can choose to close windows, walk through open doors and build bridges to a future with good choices and few regrets with support and encouragement from you.
Now that you've chosen a partner, I now have two best friends. A warm place to fall with two hearts to comfort and I am twice blessed with smiles and camaraderie. Now that you've chosen a partner, I have to keep my pants on when we watch football (I have to put on makeup to watch a video).
