This is a letter written for a soldier

Hi baby... soon I will be coming
to the arms I miss,
to the world I miss, to the kids we are blessed with,
to the Oak that is you.

And for all that you have done and been through,
have I ever told you, “just how amazing you are?

Amazing!!

It’s very hard for me to put words onto this sheet of paper.
How do you speak with your heart and apply that to letters on a page?
One way is to dream or imagine, as I do, for the reality of you, I cannot touch at this moment. And so I dream.
But you are not a dream, you are my reality that holds me anchored to the ground each day apart. Although I must admit I do a lot of dreaming.

So what I do I dream of you ask. Well if you must pry.

You, walking down the isle, is how I see you in each of my thoughts or seeing that huge smile on your face, when you caught that big salmon.
I have a warehouse filled with vintage moments of us in time.

And this part

There are certain things about a couple apart that seems to draw them nearer. It's like fighting, and making up.
Well I am really looking forward to making up, big time! We are two friends that miss the other.
Two souls which have a bond, and I am one man that treasures you dearly.
For you are an oak, with God's blessings, that has strengthened this mans soul...
I love you Baby Doll....
and you just drive me wild…. And you drive me crazy…

I think i would have elaborated on the OAK line more and not repeat it again towards the end- but this was very sweet and to recieve a letter like this would warm ones heart.
